. Sept. Court, 1795, Harrison Co., Minute Book, p. 32. – David Lindsey produced a commission signed by Gov. Isaac Shelby appointing his coroner of this county and took oath required by law. Feb. Court, 1796 – David Lindsey, coroner of this county, came into Court and with William Moore, his security, entered and acknowledged their bond in the penalty of five hundred pounds conditioned agreeably to law.

Order Book B, Page 359, April Court 1814, Harrison Co., Ky.: “On the motion of Agnes Lindsey and John Lindsey who made oaths thereto, and with David Caldwell and James Lindsey their sureties, entered, a certificate is granted them for obtaining letters of administration of the estate of David Lindsey, deceased.”
Order Book C, Page 36, December Term 1814: “The commissioners appointed by a former order of this Court to lay off Nancy Lindsey her dower in the lands of which her late husband, David Lindsey, died seized and possessed this day returned their report * * * have proceeded to lay off the same as follows: Beginning at ‘A’ in the annexed plat a stake near the graveyard in James Lindsey’s line running from thence North with James Lindsey’s line to his corner in Blair’s line at ‘D’ white oak, thence South with Blair’s line to ‘C’ a sake in the lane at the lower corner of the apple orchard * * *”
. Order Book E, Page 26, December Court 1828: “David Lindsey departed this life leaving 12 children, since which time one Samuel has died, leaving his dower or part to be divided in eleven equal parts.”

Page 122, Dec. 12, 1815: “The persons appointed by a former order of this court to settle with John Lindsey and Nancy Lindsey, administrators, of David Lindsey, deceased, met on the 12th of December 1815 at the house of David Lindsey and proceeded to make the settlement and find it as follows, to-wit:

Duncan, Samuel Blair Jr., Jane Lindsay, Ben Colloson, Wm. Schooler, James Fenley, Wm. Moore, clerk; Wm. Newell, James McMurtry, G.W. Timberlake, Joshua Jones, John Gale, Wm.
